An entrepreneur at heart, Jonathan has grown from an independent consultant to a mid-size firm, and added a portfolio of private equity investments. He & his team operate this portfolio of assets — and he shares his proven approach to building wealth across the Consulting University community. -

Penny runs our companies with a pride of ownership. She’s an expert in Operations, HR & Staffing — as well as a global traveler that frequently runs things from abroad.

Susan Dison
CFO
Susan is a licensed CPA, with over 20 years of experience. She oversees the Finances across all our companies, and generally tries to keep Jonathan out of trouble (it takes an army!).

Jonathan’s dream was to own a business one day. Thanks to our clients & customers, we’ve been able to accomplish that (& more). Today we own six companies employing over 70 people.
We operate as a family investment office, and reinvest between 70-90% of our profit annually into growing our existing businesses or buying new businesses.
Merit Consulting
Merit is a mid-sized consulting firm specializing in executing digital projects for Fortune 500 clients. Founded in 2010, clients include Waste Management, Shell, Chevron, DXC Technology, CenterPoint & Halliburton.

Consulting University is an online hub for consultants where they can find ongoing education, insights & community to support them throughout their career.

Wash Ventures
Wash Ventures operates three large laundromats in Houston, Texas — providing a clean, safe, family-oriented environment to wash clothes.
Our square footage & number of machines is equivalent to ten average-size laundromats, and we feature wash & fold service, game rooms, kids areas/libraries, and pickup/delivery service.
Brat Box
Brat Box is a subscription pin and patch club, where you get a curated box of high-quality artist designs delivered to your door every month.
We purchased this business in 2019, kept the operations team, made some improvements, and doubled the cashflow in less than twelve months.
I love that this company helps independent artists while remaining sustainably profitable. Also my kids love opening the box together every month!
